I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists and a dedicated mental health professional with a Master’s in Counseling Psychology.
I have experience supporting individuals facing trauma, addiction, stress-related disorders, and other mental health challenges. Using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, EMDR, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and FLASH therapy, I provide personalized counselling tailored to each client’s needs. I also work with children with autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, epilepsy, delayed development, and neurological conditions, using behavioral therapy to help them build essential life skills. With a holistic and spiritual approach to mental health, I strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, empowered, and guided toward healing and resilience.
Yogesh has a total of 12 years experience in the field of Orthopedic Physical Therapy and specializes in the treatment of severe back and neck conditions. He also has a special interest in treating scoliosis.
Yogesh’s way of explaining injuries and recovery to patients as well as his expertise in quickly diagnosing musculoskeletal conditions is a big reason why he is such a valued member of our team and why his patients recover so quickly. Yogesh completed his Master of Physical Therapy from Manav Rachna International University, Faridabad, Haryana, India and Bachelor of Physical Therapy degree from University of Delhi, New Delhi, India. He also completed his Diploma in Osteopathic Manipulative Theory and Practice affiliated to Osteopathic College of Ontario and completed certification in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (aka McKenzie Method) from McKenzie Institute International. He has personally
mentored many Physical Therapists in the treatment of back & neck pain. Yogesh has also taken courses in Vestibular rehab, concussion rehab, TMJ management and Dry needling/IMS methods of treatment.

After earning his BSc in Physiotherapy from the University of Punjab in 1997 and completing a four-year BSPT program at JPMC, Karachi in 2001, Imtiaz furthered his qualifications with a Post Professional Doctor of Physical Therapy (PP-DPT) in 2010 and a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Ethics and Teaching Methodology (PGD, PE&TM) in 2011 from Riphah International University, Islamabad, Pakistan.
Imtiaz has held prominent academic and clinical positions in Pakistan, including Principal and Assistant Professor at Riphah College of Rehabilitation Sciences, Lahore Campus from 2011-2015 and as Physiotherapist at leading clinics such as the National Hospital & Medical Center from 1998-2010 and Shapes Health Studio from 2001-2018 in Lahore. He has contributed to 23 research publications and served as President of the Pakistan Physical Therapy Association (2011–2013).
He relocated to Canada in 2015 and has provided physiotherapy services in Calgary since 2019. In 2023-2024, he offered physiotherapy services in the Foundation Health Centre, Fredericton, New Brunswick, focusing on chronic pain management. He is also a Registered Physical Therapist in New York State, USA. He is dedicated to mentoring students preparing for the Canadian PCE and USA NPTE exams.
Imtiaz employs a diverse range of treatment approaches, including dry needling, manual therapy, taping, therapeutic exercise, client education, and pain management techniques. He is experienced in managing motor vehicle accident (MVA) and work-related (WCB) cases and return-to-work programs, and values working within multidisciplinary teams.
He currently practices at Revital Health in Calgary, Alberta, serving clients in the Legacy, Abbeydale, and Chestermere locations.
Outside the clinic, Imtiaz is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys volunteering, water sports, hiking, fishing, hunting, barbecuing, and exploring nature with his family. He is fluent in English, Urdu, Punjabi, Hindi, and Saraiki, allowing him to connect meaningfully with a diverse patient base.
